The Brampton Excelsiors have been crowned the 2008 Major Series Lacrosse Champions, but the season isn't over yet. Brampton will play host to the 2008 Mann Cup Championship where they will play the New Westminster Salmonbellies of the Western Lacrosse Association for the coveted Mann Cup. The Mann Cup is awarded to the senior men's lacrosse champions of Canada, and was last won by Brampton in 2002.
