Margaret received the honour of being nominated as "Culinarian of the Year" for the Cordon d’Or - Gold Ribbon International Culinary Arts Academy Awards and was selected by the jury as the winner. Margaret receives the award at the historical Don CeSar Beach Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida at a VIP reception on Saturday, 16 May 2009.
