About the Host

The biography of Dr. Scott Levine reads like an article in GQ Magazine. Celebrities, political icons and top athletes travel far to consult with him, and with good reason: Dr. Levine is one of the top Chiropractors in Canada.

A select clientele list: Gloria Steinman, Wendy Crewson, Naomi Judd, Dr. Maya Angelou, Linda Carter, Jann Arden, Anita Roddick, Carol Burnett, Faith Popcorn, Benazir Bhutto, Paula Nelson, Debbie Fields, Cathy Buckley, Loni Anderson, Dr. Jane Goodall, Motley Crew, Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings.

Dr. Levine’s edge is simple – a true passion for his work. It is this passion that leads him to continually educate himself on the newest tools, techniques and theories available in his field.

Dr. Levine is currently the only practicing chiropractor in the world to offer the Biovizion Biomechanical Posture Evaluation System, a revolutionary thermal imaging technology that reveals how the foot influences the leg and back muscles allowing for the creation of customized orthotics that can solve a range of issues from posture to back pain. He is also one of the few skilled in new techniques such as using the portable Synaptic machine, effective for pain relief after one application, and conducting postural exams using a Spinal Analysis Machine, outlining postural deviations and designing a program to improve posture for life.

Dr. Levine has a diverse professional background that began in 1996 with the founding of the Vita Integrative Health Clinic in the upscale Yonge & St. Clair area. His philosophy – a focus on the mind-body connection with an emphasis on physical fitness and nutrition – comes to life at Vita, and is the core of any service Dr. Levine provides. Today, the Vita Integrative Health Clinic is four times its original size and going strong.

In 1997, Dr. Levine discovered that there was a demand from his celebrity clientele for a more private, traveling chiropractic service. He filled this niche by starting Paramount Bodyworks, which providing on-site treatment beyond normal working hours to the ‘renowned’ individual. New York City, Atlanta, Vancouver and Calgary are just some of the cities to which Dr. Levine has been called; to hotels, concerts and major events by a celebrity clientele in need of chiropractic or massage therapy. Via Paramount Bodyworks and its team of six professionals, Dr. Levine can count the Molson Amphitheatre, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Team Subaru (Echo Challenge) and the Toronto SARS concert as well as many other sports teams and events as clients.

With a successful practice, discerning clientele and the latest techniques, Dr. Levine has attracted media attention including guest spots on CTV’s Canada AM as well as a feature in Ask the Expert in Glow Magazine.  He began his tenure as toronto living's Fitness Correspondent in the spring of 2005.
