Lara has been immersed in the world of sports her entire life. She grew-up with football as a religion and Sunday as a day of prayer for the Oakland Raiders. Lara began her involvement in sports at a very young age and excelled in soccer, golf, swimming, and martial arts. She is passionate about soccer and will let nothing stand in her way of watching her beloved teams, AC Milan and Chelsea. Lara is a true Toronto fan, following the Leafs, Raptors, and Jays closely.

Lara graduated from the University of Toronto with a Specialist in Urban and Economic Geography before studying Broadcast Journalism at the post-graduate level. Having years of theatre and film performances under her belt Lara is no stranger to the camera and microphone. Lara joined the Rogers TV team in 2009 as the colour commentator and analyst for the Canadian Soccer League (CSL), the rink-side reporter and interviewer for the CCHL/OHA, and the host of Sportszone. She also hosts, commentates, and is the side-line interviewer for various sports on Game Day and during other special events.

Lara is known for her strong opinions, thorough tactical breakdowns, and unbiased reporting of all sports matters. She is extremely pleased to be working with Rogers TV, bringing sports and sports news to you.
