Jacqueline Betterton is the producer and host of daytime York Region on Rogers TV. Jacqueline has been hosting the show since it premiered in September 2004 and continues to bring her friendly and outgoing personality to the screen every weekday morning with York Region's only one hour lifestyle show.

Jacqueline is thrilled daytime is celebrating over one thousand episodes and going into a sixth season.  She loves helping to share the stories of the people in York Region and is constantly amazed by the people, events, local restaurants and everything that is York Region.

Her interest in journalism began at a young age when she would conduct interviews with family members on a personal recorder. That led to interviewing local York Region politicians and also a famous Canadian youth author...before she even decided to go into broadcasting. After attending Loyalist College, Jacqueline stepped into the role of co-host of daytime York Region and says that meeting new and facinating people is the best part of her day. 

In 2006 Jacqueline was awarded a Rogers Impression Award for the Best On-Air Personality. Jacqueline was also honoured with the Media Recognition Award from the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority's Conservation Awards in 2009.

Jacqueline grew up in York Region and continues to make it her home. Jacqueline enjoys running, playing tennis, reading, dining in or out and spending time with her family and friends.
