Ottawa Senators fans are arguably some of the most dedicated in the National Hockey League. Now fans can easily share comments about the game they love on the new weekly call-in Overtime Live. Modeled after a popular show with the same name that aired during the past two playoff seasons, the one-hour program will kick off October 20th and run through the 2008/09 NHL hockey season.
Overtime Live will be hosted by two high-caliber hockey insiders. Former Ottawa Senators defenceman Jason York played over 800 career NHL games, including five full seasons with his hometown team. Veteran sports reporter Patricia Boal, who most recently served as the Ottawa Bureau Reporter for the The Score, will bring her talents for sports journalism and a decade of experience on the Ottawa sports scene.
The live phone-in will give fans an exclusive opportunity to speak directly with players and coaches and a chance to share their passion for hockey, the Senators and the National Hockey League. Viewers will also get a behind-the-scenes-look at the game, lively interviews, hot topic discussions, tips, fun facts and important insights and analysis.
