House of Hope Residents Won't Be Without a Place to Stay
Two weeks after London Cares announced that the House of Hope will be closing in November if a new funding partner was not found, London Mayor Josh Morgan was clear that that wouldn’t leave the 45 residents without a place to go.
London Cares has not provided an update on funding partners. The province has pointed to $21.8 million in Homeless Prevention Program funding that London has received, but Morgan says that has already been allocated for other projects.
