Medicine Hat to Modernized 3 of its Oldest Electric Substations

Medicine Hat City Council has voted in favour of a budget amendment of $21.5 million dollars to fund a modernization of 3 of its oldest electric substations.   Built in the 1980s, these are critical stations act as control centres to transform, regulate and route high-voltage electricity throughout the city’s electrical grid.
