EXtreme Indian Relay Racing packed Halstead Downs at the Lloydminster Exhibition this past weekend, with riders launching bareback from one horse to the next in front of a full grandstand. Teams competed over two days, with 20-year-old Joe Jackson taking his second straight Lloydminster title. For riders like Tyrone Jackson, the sport runs in the family. His cousin Craig Jackson was one of the First Canadians to compete in Indian Relay, and got Tyrone started in the sport back in 2018.
