Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women at Medicine Hat College
The Indigenous Engagement Student Leadership Team organized a memorial walk to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2Spirit People. Participants shared why taking part was important to them, while organizer Janice Randhile emphasized the ongoing crisis facing Indigenous communities. Attendees remembered victims by name as the march highlighted the need for continued awareness and action.
