Youth Empowerment in Focus at Medicine Hat Black History Month
The Connection Intercultural Association and the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce hosted a Future Forward Black History Month Summit, bringing youth, local leaders, and entrepreneurs together to address the challenges facing young Black people and explore pathways for civic and economic leadership. The month-long Black History celebration concluded with the Medicine Hat community emphasizing the need to move beyond celebration toward meaningful action, focusing on inclusion and economic empowerment.
