Fall Rendezvous Brings the Sault’s History to Life
Fall Rendezvous is back in Sault Ste. Marie, bringing local history to life with historical re-enactors, cannon fire, demonstrations and more at the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site.
The annual event features re-enactors portraying Indigenous people, fur traders, British soldiers, 19th-century residents, tradespeople and others, giving visitors a chance to experience the Sault’s history firsthand.
New this year is Indigenous Knowledge Sharing and Culture Day on Sunday, featuring Indigenous storytelling, drummers, artisans and vendors. Scottish Highland Day also returns Saturday with pipe bands, highland dancing and a family-friendly caber toss.
Admission to Fall Rendezvous is by donation.
