Deal Made Between City of Vernon and Surrounding Areas for New Rec Centre
Vernon's Active Living Centre (ALC) is to be completed in late 2026. Pricing of admission passes was brought to council late May, with no clear decision being made. Weeks later, the city has made a deal with Coldstream and the Regional District of North Okanagan area's B and C. These cities/municipalities will help pay for the operating costs, and in return will pay the same user rates as Vernonites.
