Tax increase expected in Lloydminster's 2026 budget | Rogers tv
The City of Lloydminster has approved its 2026 interim budget, outlining key investments in protective services and core infrastructure. The budget includes an estimated four per cent property tax increase for the average homeowner, driven in part by rising policing and fire service costs. City officials say the goal is to maintain essential services such as snow removal, recreation facilities and public safety, while continuing infrastructure work on roads, water and sewer systems. The interim budget will be reviewed again in the spring once provincial and federal funding levels are confirmed.
