White Horse Rider Tepee Project Seeks Community Volunteers
The White Horse Rider Tepee Project is seeking community volunteers to help build tepees across the city this summer. Project manager Brenda Mercer says the initiative aims to create shared spaces celebrating Indigenous culture. The city-funded project, supported by a $10,000 grant, is set for completion by June 11. Organizers say volunteers will also have opportunities to learn about Indigenous culture. More information is available through the White Horse Rider Project on Facebook.
