Welcome to Reflections of Pakistan!
Hosted by Mashooda Syed, Reflections of Pakistan highlights major events and stories about the National Capital Region’s vibrant Pakistani community. The show also features interviews with notable writers, artists, activists, scholars and other personalities visiting the city.
Mashooda is Pakistani national, who together with her family settled in Ottawa in 1981. She has been very active in the Pakistani community since a young age. Starting with the National Federation of Pakistani Canadians, Mashooda served as Joint Secretary as a teenager. She also organized the first National Youth Conference for Pakistani Canadians in Ottawa, amongst numerous other organizations. She is also a passionate philanthropist, serving the community through a variety of charitable projects.
