Downtown Construction Begins in Lloydminster Core | Rogers tv
Construction is now underway in downtown Lloydminster as the City moves forward with the next phase of its Central Business District replacement program. The project includes underground infrastructure replacement, road reconstruction, sidewalk upgrades and new streetscape features aimed at revitalizing the downtown core. While months of construction are expected to bring some disruption for businesses and drivers, downtown business owner Kerry Million says the long-term goal of creating a more modern and vibrant downtown makes the inconvenience worthwhile. Construction is expected to continue through late October.
