A pipe ceremony was held at Holy Rosary High school recently, bringing students, staff, and board members together for a sacred cultural teaching. The ceremony marked a major milestone for Mike Young who led his first pipe ceremony, after years of learning from Elder Brent Dillon. Young chose to hold the ceremony at a school to share Indigenous teachings directly with students.
