Thunder Bay Talks Encourages Community Dialogue
Thunder Bay residents gathered for this year’s Thunder Bay Talks, an all-in-one community engagement event bringing every city department under one roof. From growth planning and the upcoming 311 launch to encampment response and community safety, residents had the chance to speak directly with city staff, ask questions, and learn about ongoing projects shaping the city’s future.
Families filled the room, exploring booths, meeting staff, and taking part in hands-on activities. Kids, parents, and grandparents all weighed in, offering a snapshot of how community engagement can feel welcoming, accessible, and fun.
