Vegetarian 101

Chef D and Lauren Hallman cover the basics of vegetarian cuisine -  including how you can enhance your cooking with ingredients like flax seed, nutritional yeast and chlorella.

They also prepare chickpea stew with roasted tomatoes, mango and cucumber salad topped with hemp hearts and a sweet and nutritious dry fruit and veggie appetizer rolled in coconut.

From Executive Chef at Kitchener Auditorium to roles at M&M Meat Shops and Weber's Restaurants, he's known for his culinary expertise. With stints as Corporate Chef at Toppits Foods Ltd. and Aqua Star, he's a culinary icon featured in various media.
