Sault Ste. Marie Pickleball Players Push City for Better Courts Amid Growing Demand

Pickleball players in Sault Ste. Marie were making noise at last Sault Ste. Marie City Council, demanding improved facilities to match the sport’s rapid growth.

At a recent council meeting, dozens of pickleball players packed the chambers to advocate for upgrades, citing overcrowded courts and limited access.

The city took notice of the passionate players and voted to invest in better infrastructure, with Snowdon Park’s aging courts expected to receive a facelift next year.
